The Ministry of Home Affairs and Public Safety and the Department of Labour is proud to announce the "Labour Inspector's Handbook."

The Handbook was presented to Labour Inspectors on July 27th. Staff of the Department, President of the Labour Tribunal, and Labour Consultant Samuel J. Goolsarran met Mr. Derek Been, Permanent Secretary with responsibility for Labour at Beaches Resort to discuss the consultancy on Labour Administration and the way forward.

The Handbook includes procedures resulting from the consultancy, outlines of orientation and initial training, and all the forms regularly used by Labour Inspectors. In his foreword to the Handbook Hon. Galmo Williams, Minister for Labour, said that the handbook aims at enhancing staff capability and motivating staff to discharge, with confidence, their duties which require dedication, commitment and integrity.
